Teddington Hockey Club (THC) is a vibrant and growing community club with ambitious plans:

To establish ourselves as a top 20 elite club in the UK, competing with the best whilst providing opportunity for all
To develop our pitch and pitch side facilities to attract top-calibre playing, coaching and management talent from a wide and diverse pool
To be an inclusive and positive part of our members’ lives, a club where they realise their potential and make friends and memories for life

Our dedicated Fundraising Team is working hard to raise funds via grant applications, sponsorship and partner engagement. Our fundraising objective is to raise monies to upgrade our club facilities and improve our floodlights and pitch surfaces at Teddington School. The fundraising target for the next 3 years (2022 to 2024) is £300,000.

Our key current initiatives are outlined below – please get involved and give generously, either as a one off or regularly. Once set up you don't need to worry about anything – we sort it all for you!

As a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) we are able to reclaim Gift Aid on donations.

facility upgrade fUND

Please offer your support to secure a healthy and sustainable future for our great club.

Our fundraising objective is to raise monies to upgrade our club facilities and improve our floodlights and pitch surfaces at Teddington School. Our fundraising target for 2022 to 2024 is £300,000.

This initiative is aligned with our aim to achieve some key outcomes:

Improve access and participation in sport and exercise across all ages for the good of our community’s physical and mental health and wellbeing.
To help build community belonging and social cohesion and contribute to the personal development of the young.
In addition to our engagement and interaction with around 700 people each week, the Club’s full-time coaches will be able to provide wider community outreach and free coaching services to other organisations including schools, clubs and voluntary groups within the Borough.

150th aNNIVERSARY

Teddington Hockey Club is the oldest hockey club in the world. Founded in 1871, 2021 marks our 150th anniversary year and we are planning a series of celebration events kicking off during the start of the 2021/22 season and going in to 2022.

This will give all adult and junior playing members, alumni, parents, non-playing members, volunteers and officials an opportunity to celebrate the past 150 years as we look forward ‘Beyond 150’.
