Teddington Hockey Club (THC) is a vibrant and growing community club with ambitious plans. We have established ourselves as a top 20 elite club in the UK with both our Women and Men’s 1s competing in the Women’s Division 1 South and Men’s Division 1 South leagues respectively. We have an additional eleven teams playing across the men’s and women’s Adult London Hockey Leagues every Saturday and thriving Junior, Masters and Flyerz sections playing on Sundays. Our goals are:

To develop our pitch and pitch side facilities to attract top-calibre playing, coaching and management talent from a wide and diverse pool
To be an inclusive and positive part of our members’ lives, a club where they realise their potential and make friends and memories for life
To be an integral part of our broader community and a real force for diversity in hockey
To facilitate the above with a clean, comfortable and welcoming clubhouse.

Our dedicated Fundraising Team is working hard to raise funds via grant applications, sponsorship, partner engagement, club fundraisers and donations. Our current fundraising objective is to raise monies to upgrade and provide some essential maintenance to our clubhouse. The fundraising target is £80,000.

clubhouse upgrade

Phase One - Completed
Essential maintenance to the toilets, floor, roofing and security, etc. Installation of a new sound system and TVs with games livestreamed from the pitches to the big screen every weekend.

Phase Two

Raise £80,000 to achieve the following essential upgrades and enhancements to the clubhouse and pitches:

Installation of new windows along the front of the building including an outdoor serving hatch through from the bar so that teas and coffees, etc., can be purchased without going inside.
Removal of the existing decking and replacement with a new state of the art, durable, anti-slip system which will extend around the back, providing more space and access all around as well as being more attractive.
Replacement of the outdoor furniture with a larger, more comfortable and practical range.
Installation of large, branded canopies providing cover cross the decking.
Cladding of the club frontage entirely in wood from floor to ceiling.
Redecoration of the inside of the clubhouse entirely once the other works are done. – VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
Addition of dugouts to both pitches.
