Outreach Hockey
At THC we believe everyone should have a chance to play hockey. We want to rewrite the narrative of who can play hockey and who can’t. We want to change how hockey is perceived and challenge the stereotypes. Our outreach program is designed to give back to the community which supports us.
What we do
We visit state schools around our community and provide an opportunity for them to try a sport they otherwise might not have been able to do. We provide high-quality coaching and after school sessions to improve student’s skills, confidence and passion. We also provide goalie kits and bespoke shirts which means schools do not have to buy them themselves. We organise friendly matches and tournaments to help our students to learn to perform under pressure.
